1. Classic Beef Burger:

Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef (80% lean)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, onion, and any other desired toppings
- Cheese slices (optional)
- Condiments like ketchup, mustard, and mayo

Instructions:
1. Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat.
2. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.
3. Season both sides of the patties with salt and pepper.
4. Place the patties on the grill or pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare to medium doneness.
5. If using cheese, add a slice to each patty during the last minute of cooking.
6. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

2. Veggie Black Bean Burger:

Ingredients:
- 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped bell pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg (or flax egg for a vegan version)
- 4 whole wheat burger buns
- Toppings of your choice: avocado, lettuce, tomato, etc.

Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mash the black beans with a fork or potato masher, leaving some chunks for texture.
2. Add breadcrumbs, chopped onion, bell pepper, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the mashed beans.
3. Beat the egg and add it to the mixture. Mix well until everything is combined.
4. Divide the mixture into 4 portions and shape them into patties.
5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
6. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are heated through and have a crispy exterior.
7. Toast the burger buns and assemble the burgers with your favorite toppings.

3. Grilled Chicken Avocado Burger:

Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 4 whole wheat burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, onion, and any desired toppings

Instructions:
1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.
3. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).
4. Toast the burger buns on the grill.
5. Assemble the burgers: Place lettuce, tomato, grilled chicken breast, and avocado slices on the bottom bun. Add any other desired toppings and cover with the top bun.
